Midweek Small Groups
We believe belonging to a small group is an important and necessary part of growing in faith.
Small groups are where you will find caring people to walk with you on your journey and a safe
place to explore your questions about God and life. At Allendale, any question is a good question.
Even if you have never been a part of a small group before, you are welcome and invited to join.

Men's Prayer Group
Last Friday of Every Month, 7 am in the Wesley Room
The UMM will have a special speaker for the May meeting. Gary Chapin will be sharing his personal experiences
as a U.S. Navy Religious Program Specialist. He supported the Navy Chaplain Corps for over 20 years before
he retired in 1999. Topics will include how clergypersons become Navy Chaplains, how support personnel are
required to become familiar with religious practices of all denominations, as cooperation without compromise
was the motto. And he will share the experiences of his deployment to Beirut, Lebanon in 1983 with slides.
He was with the U.S. Marine Corps unit that was bombed by terrorists resulting in over 244 deaths. All are
welcome. More information call Jim Pfister at 577-1977.
