Kingdom of Heaven
Presented September 6, 2009 - October 4, 2009
God's reign is a present and future reality. Jesus reveals and explains this truth through 5 short stories all found in Matthew 13. Knowing the truth helps us understand how the world works in the here and now and helps us plan for eternity.

Matthew 13:34-35 Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: "I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world."

Deeply Rooted
Presented June 21, 2009 - July 12, 2009
Four sermons from Colossians, chapter 2. "And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to live in obedience to him. Let your roots grow down into him and draw up nourishment from him, so you will grow in faith, strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with thanksgiving for all he has done." Colossians 2:6-7

July 12
Deep Cleansing (Colossians 2:11-15, 20-23)
While we were still dead in our sins, Christ did His part to offer reconciliation and forgiveness.
Now we can receive the deep cleansing that can only come from His life.

July 5
Deep Wisdom (Colossians 2:8-10, 16-19)
Paul warns us not to fall prey to the empty deceit of false teaching. Staying in God's word is the only way to be sure that you are following the wisdom of God, rather than human traditions.

June 28
Deep Devotion (Colossians 2:4-7)
Our relationship with Christ is based on what He did for us. Our devotion to him is a thankful obedience.

June 21
Deep Relationships (Colossians 2:1-5)

Noah
Presented May 3, 2009 - May 17, 2009
Noah found favor with the LORD. He consistently followed God's will and enjoyed a close relationship with him. Following Noah's example and avoiding his mistakes will teach us how to strengthen our relationship with God.

May 17: Storm of Storms
Genesis 7:11-24
The flood was a harsh reality, not a cute children's story. Our life can be harsh as well. God promises to be a saving force in the midst of every storm, always with us. You can trust in God.

May 10: The First Step
Genesis 6:11-21
Following God is not always easy. God often calls us to hard, surprising, crazy-big, humanly impossible work. Do not be overwhelmed. The work is accomplished one step at a time over a long period of time. What is God asking of you? Will you take the first step today?

May 3: A World Full of Evil
Genesis 6:5-9
There is wickedness all around us. God is looking for men and women willing to stand strong and holy in the midst of evil. One can make a difference. Are you willing to be different in order to save the world?

Wonderful World- Embracing God's Growth Forces
Presented January 11, 2008 - February 15, 2008 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. ~Psalm 19:1-4

God is the Creator of Heaven and Earth. God and the ways of God are revealed in the natural world all around us. The ways of God are universal principles. They apply to all people of all cultures, at all times and in all situations. A German theologian and researcher name Christian Schwartz named these principles growth forces. In learning and applying God's growth forces, we will live more harmonious and fruitful lives. We will walk in the ways of God.
