Have you ever thought about your story- the kind of mark you are leaving on the world and the lives of others? What would a book or a movie about your life look like? Think your story isn’t big enough for the big screen? Your story is much bigger than you realize.

As believers our stories are tied to The Story- God’s Story. God’s story isn’t reserved for Bible characters and super saints, its for anyone who wants to be a part of it.

Look at the words proclaimed at our baptism,
You are initiated into Christ’s Holy Church
You are incorporated into God’s mighty acts of salvation
You are given new birth through water and the Spirit
All this is God’s gift, offered to us without price

Romans 6:3-4 says “all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death. Therefore we have been buried with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.”

This year we will be sharing stories in worship and our newsletter about how our personal story becomes part of God’s great story of salvation. My Story—God’s Story. These are stories of prayers answered, God using people to make a difference, and how people came to be followers of Jesus. No story is too small and no story is too big! Your story is important and we’d love to hear it.
