Weekly Worship Services
9:00 a.m. Sunday Contemporary Service
A casual, spirit filled service located in the Sanctuary. Our dynamic praise band is featured year-round. Prayer is also an important part of this service.

11:00 a.m. Sunday Traditional Service
A warm-hearted service in the Sanctuary featuring favorite hymns accompanied by the church organ and piano. Our chancel choir, soloists, and instrumentalists preach the Word in through music throughout the year.

6:00 p.m. Tuesday Prayer Service
A causal, simple, intimate time of prayer with God in the Chapel.

Where We Worship
Allendale UMC is a mission church established in 1924. Our original sanctuary was built in 1926 and now serves as a chapel. We use our intimate, Mediterranean style Chapel throughout the year for the Tuesday prayer service and other special services, including small weddings and funerals. Most of our worship services take place in the Sanctuary, which features a beautiful stained glass window depicting Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus giving the Great Commission.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Holy Communion
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month in both worship services. All persons are invited and able to participate. The Congregational Care team and the pastor are also delighted to bring communion to you at other times.

Baptism
The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated year-round in both worship services. We also head to the beach several times per year when a person desires to receive baptism by immersion. United Methodists baptize persons of all ages.

Transportation Ministry
We have a church van for anyone needing transportation to and from worship and other activities. Call the church office to schedule this free service. (727 527-6694)

Nursery
A free nursery is provided on Sunday mornings. The crib nursery (0-2 year olds) is located between the double glass doors off the back parking lot. The toddler nursery (2-5 year olds) is located in room 108.
