The Social Justice Group is meeting this Tue Jul 16 in the Hybrid Room at 6:30 PM.

In addition, they are writing postcards encouraging people to check their voter registration status and request mail-in ballots. Meeting in the Hybrid room this Wed Jul 17 from 5-6 PM.

Palestinian Movie Screening

We will have a screening of “The Night Won’t End”. The film follows three Palestinian families as they recount the horrific experiences they have endured during the war. The screening start at 6:30 PM on Thu Jul 25 in the Sanctuary.

DISCERNING A MINISTRY ROLE:

Save the date for August 16-18 for a special discernment with Deaconess Megan Hale. Deaconesses and Home Missioners are laypeople who are called by God to be in a lifetime relationship in The United Methodist Church for engagement with a full-time vocation in ministries of love, justice, and service. Together, they alleviate suffering, eradicate causes of injustice and all that robs life of dignity and worth, facilitate the development of full human potential, and share in the building global community through the church universal. Food Pantry Donations

The United Women in Faith are continuing their collection of non-perishable food for local food pantries. Cereal, pasta, canned fruit and beans with tabs, and spaghetti sauce (no glass) are especially welcome! Collection bins are in the Kitchen and Narthex outside the Sanctuary.
