Rev. Andy Oliver (he/him/his) is the pastor of Allendale United Methodist Church, a bold Justice Seeking/Reconciling Congregation committed to full inclusion and radical hospitality. Grounded in Wesleyan and liberation theology, Rev. Andy’s ministry weaves together creative liturgy, prophetic preaching, and hands-on community engagement. He is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, immigrants, racial justice, reproductive freedom, climate action, and all people at the margins. Pastor Andy is deeply involved in local, statewide, and national advocacy. Under his leadership, Allendale has become a hub for social justice, partnering with justice-centered orgs beyond the local church.

Dr. Arthur Leon Tredwell, “Dr. Lee” (He/We/Ours), serves as Pastor of Theological and Community Engagement at Allendale United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. A scholar, pastor, and ordained American Baptist clergy person, Dr. Tredwell’s work explores race, class, gender, sexuality, and the biblical text.

He brings experience in ministry, business, government, and community development, including initiatives that created more than 125 units of affordable housing and increased adoption rates for African American children in foster care. His first book, Black, Queer and Blessed: My Story and the Biblical Story Churches Don’t Teach, reflects his commitment to connecting theology with lived experience and embodied justice.

Cameron Helwege (he/him/his) serves as Creative Director at Allendale United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. He grew up across the Skyway in Manatee County and built his education around television production, theater technology, and graphic design.

Cameron brings more than a decade of leadership experience across several United Methodist congregations in the Florida and Georgia Annual Conferences, as well as earlier work at Warren Willis United Methodist Camp as a Camp Counselor and in Program Development. He also serves as Communications Coordinator for the Methodist Federation for Social Action (MFSA), connecting his local creative work with a national movement committed to justice and advocacy within the church and beyond.

Bruce (he/him/his) is Director of Operations here at Allendale. He was a Sonar Technician in the Navy; retired after 23 years as a journeyman press operator and trainer at The Times Publishing Co. Bruce enjoys art, creating videos, riding motorcycles, cats, and afternoon naps. He and his wife, Amy, continue to enjoy spiritual growth and serving in the Allendale community. Bruce is the creative mind behind many of our Pride float decorations and is grateful for the glitter gang that builds the float each year. Bruce also cooks meals for Wednesday night dinners alongside a tremendously helpful volunteer crew.

Hillary Daley (she/her/hers) is originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and relocated to St. Petersburg with her wife and their pug in 2020. Since then, Hillary and her partner have become homeowners, adopted a second dog, and grown in their faith and connection to the St. Petersburg community. Allendale has played an important role in helping Hillary build a community that embraces her intersectionality and encourages her commitment to service, sustainability, and social impact.

Prior to joining Allendale, Hillary worked with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, where her experience included environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, site remediation, and surface water protection, and environmental data management. Her professional background also includes project coordination, business operations, sustainability initiatives, and organizational process improvement.

Hillary has a Master of Business Administration in Environmental Compliance and Sustainability from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from Towson University. She has also completed professional training in environmental remediation, hazardous waste operations, sustainability consulting, life-cycle assessment, and water-quality regulation.

Her work is rooted in the belief that environmental sustainability and community well-being are deeply connected. At Allendale, Hillary is especially interested in fostering programs, partnerships, and operational strategies that expand community engagement, strengthen nonprofit capacity, and create opportunities for people to participate in environmental and social impact work.

Outside of her professional work, Hillary works as a commercial model, and enjoys pilates, and community-based health and wellness events.

Tru Mizzell (she/her) is the Director of Music Development. She has been a member of Allendale for years and is happy to work in and give back to the space that has always provided her with an unwavering and supportive community. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Music from Brenau University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Texas. Tru has a passion for music and justice; she is combining the two by creating music ensembles (Tru’ Time Orchestra) that elevates the voices of musicians and composers that have historically been discriminated against in the world of classical music. Tru gains inspiration from music leaders that have already paved the way for her to pave the way for others.

Dylan Dames (he/him/his) is a multifaceted musical artist and community organizer based in Florida. He serves as the Music and Organizing Associate and as one of the Youth Directors at Allendale. He is actively involved in community engagement and advocacy.

Campbell (she/her/hers) is Co-Director of the Youth Group along with Dylan. She has been a member of Allendale since 2021 and was drawn to join the congregation for its strong involvement in social justice and advocacy for marginalized communities. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, she moved to St. Petersburg in 2018 to attend the University of South Florida at the St. Petersburg campus. She earned her BS in Business Economics in 2020 and her MBA with a concentration in Data Analytics in 2022. Outside of her involvement at Allendale, she works at USF as Academic Administrator of the Online MBA program. Campbell is passionate about connecting with Youth and helping them develop their own spiritual relationships, thanks to her fond memories and experiences from being involved in her church’s youth group growing up. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in the Disney World parks and theorizing when Reputation (Taylor’s Version) will be released.
