Dear friend,
We’re just over a week away from Lent, which begins on Ash Wednesday, March 5. We invite you to mark the start of this sacred season with us. From 12-1 PM on March 5, Pastor Andy will offer drive-by ashes outside by our marquee sign—drive up, stay in your car, and receive the sign of the cross as a reminder of our shared humanity and call to reflection. In the evening, we will gather at 5 PM for a farewell feast for Pankaj Dutta, who is moving away to be with family. Then, at 6 PM, we will hold our Ash Wednesday service, entering this season with prayer, reflection, and ashes.
This year, our theme for Lent, “Everything In Between,” invites us to explore the tensions and complexities of faith. Guided by the Gospel of Luke, we’ll walk with Jesus as he challenges the divisive issues of his time, revealing a love that transcends easy categories. We hope you’ll join us in this journey of looking beyond binaries and discovering where God meets us—not just at the edges, but in between.
“Everything In Between” Devotion books are now available in the Sanctuary and Church Office, and online here.
