The Bellringer: Ringing against Injustice

DearĀ friend,

This is an urgent request for donations to the food pantry at Wesley United Methodist Church, 301 37th Ave N in St Petersburg.

For many years Allendale has supported this food pantry with donations of non-perishable food.  Wesley’s food pantry has been in existence for many years and serves those in the immediate area.

Last week, after serving over 600 people, they had to turn people away because they ran out of food. They really need our help.

If you are able, please bring your non-perishables to Allendale and leave them in the kitchen in the marked containers to be brought to Wesley. You can also take food directly to Wesley. Their pantry is open from 9 AM to 12 noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Mike Fitzgerald

Itā€™s with great sadness that we share with you the passing of Michael Fitzgerald. He and his wife Terry were very active members of Allendale before moving to Mexico. Mike suffered from dementia, lung cancer, and Parkinson’s. According to his wife, Mike had a ā€œgood deathā€.
Terry has asked for prayers. You can send her condolences at healthywoman71@gmail.com.

Terry is planning a celebration of life at Allendale on
Saturday, October 1 with a service at 11 AM and a meal to follow.
