The Bellringer: Ringing against Injustice

Friday, October 14, 2022

Dear friend,

There are 24 days until the November election. Mail-in ballots are out now.

As Christians, we are responsible for ensuring that our communities are centered on equity and justice. The most important thing you can do this month to achieve that is to vote. After you vote, make sure everyone in your network votes. Volunteer with the campaign.

Contact an organizer like Nick Carey in our church and ask how you can help. Make sure mope more people have access to the polls. Volunteer with the supervisor of elections so that election day runs smoothly. Drive people who don’t have access to the polls. Volunteer to drive Allendale’s bus on election day to get people to the polls.

When more people vote, we see more just outcomes. Everyone has to do their part!

PS. I hope you’ll join us on Sunday after church for some clean-up. We will throw lots of junk in the dumpster as we prepare the classroom wing of our church for its next chapter!

Help us clean up after church

We will be loading up a dumpster (which has finally arrived!) on Sunday after church. Most of the junk was already taken downstairs from the classrooms during our initial clean-up gathering on Wednesday night and staged to make loading quick.
