Dear friend,

The Christmas Tree delivery originally scheduled for this Sunday after Church has been pushed to Monday. We still need lots of help to get our Christmas tree lot set up on Saturday at 10 AM, but we encourage you to come and help at noon on Monday too if you are able. If lifting trees isn’t your thing, there are many other helpful tasks that do not require moving heavy items during the tree lot setup.

This is a great opportunity to meet our amazing youth who will benefit from this fundraiser. Last year, proceeds from the Christmas tree lot allowed our youth to take a trip to Alabama to learn about civil rights and the history of slavery in the United States.

The first openly gay medical student at UF, Dr. Bob reflects on the hardships he overcame during his studies and stigma in his career and how it helped him become a compassionate physician and LGBTQ rights leader in St. Petersburg.
