Maundy Thursday Evening Worship
Join us for our Maundy Thursday service on April 17 at 6 PM in the Sanctuary. This special Holy Week gathering offers space for reflection, prayer, and storytelling as we sit with sorrow, name injustice, and draw strength from Jesus’ final days. All are welcome in this sacred space of solidarity and hope.

Good Friday Zoom Meditation

Easter Egg Hunt!
Join us on Saturday, April 19, the day before Easter, for a fun-filled morning of crafts, games, activities, and an Easter egg hunt beginning at 10 AM. Be sure to bring your Easter basket! Eggs will be empty and exchanged for candy or prizes to accommodate dietary needs and prevent melting. The egg hunt will be divided by age group, and all activities will remain available throughout.
This free event is open to all!

Easter Sunrise
On Easter Sunday, several local area UMC congregations are gathering together at Crescent Lake Park to celebrate Jesus’s resurrection as we greet the dawn in nature. You do not have to belong to any church to come. Bring your own chair or blanket.
The easiest way to find us in the park is to put 1900 7th St N St. Petersburg into your GPS. We are near the northwest corner of the lake. Street parking is available.

The Easter Choir is singing in Worship!
Celebrate the season with us this Sunday at 10:30 AM in the Sanctuary as the Easter Choir leads worship with joyful and inspiring music. All are welcome to experience this special service filled with resurrection hope and the beauty of community through song.

“trans / clay / body” Exhibit – Open Now
The trans / clay / body show is at the Morean Center for Clay, 420 22nd St. S, St. Petersburg, through April 27. The exhibit features work by Allendale’s own Nela and was supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Gallery hours are Wednesday–Saturday, 10 AM–5 PM, and Sunday, 12–4 PM. Reach out to the church office to be connected with Nela for a guided visit.

Over 30 people gathered last Monday to Stand for Democracy, including many from Allendale. Join us again this Monday from 5–6 PM at the southeast corner of 22nd Ave N and 34th St N to raise our voices and signs together.

Support the youth and get donuts
The youth are having a friendly competition to raise money for the youth ministry. They are selling donuts for $16 a dozen. Pre-Order donuts here: www.allendaleumc.org/donuts
When you order donuts, you will have the option to select a youth to support. Once you order, and the youth leaders have a chance to process your order, you will then be sent a code to redeem for a dozen donuts.
