Diana Ong

Church Administrator

Diana (she/her/hers) is the Church Administrator. Originally from New York City, she spent several years traveling before settling in St. Petersburg in 2021 to raise her family. During her travels, she volunteered on farms across different countries, learning about agriculture and immersing herself in a variety of cultures—experiences that deepened her appreciation for community, service, and connection. With many years of experience as a pastry chef in the food industry, Diana eventually felt called to serve others in a different way. She is currently pursuing a B.A. in Psychology, with a focus on mental health and child development, and hopes to one day provide counseling to those navigating life’s challenges. At the church, Diana supports the day-to-day life of the community with warmth, organization, and care. Outside of work and studies, she enjoys being outdoors and going on adventures with her family.

She received her Bachelors of Arts in Music from Brenau University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Texas. Tru has a passion for music and justice; she is combining the two by creating music ensembles (Tru’ Time Orchestra) that elevates the voices of musicians and composers that have historically been discriminated against in the world of classical music. Tru gains inspiration from music leaders that have already paved the way for her to pave the way for others.
