I want to let you know about a special event that will support Allendale’s newest initiative for Justice & Equity.

Leadership St. Pete is hosting Brews & Brains: Trivia Night at Grand Central Brewhouse on Wednesday, April 26, from 6-9 PM to raise funds for the Allendale Equity & Justice Center.

For the last several months, we have been working with Leadership St. Pete to transition the space that formerly housed our preschool into a state-of-the-art Justice & Equity center that will support our community. Leadership St. Pete’s Class of 2023 chose the Allendale Equity & Justice Center for their class project.

The reimagined rooms at Allendale will include co-working space, hybrid meeting space, and office space for individual change agents and justice-seeking organizations to be able to work effectively and collaboratively.

The transformation has already begun, and the majority of the renovation is taking place in May.

Our goal is to make a space that allows these organizations to put more of their resources into supporting the community of St. Petersburg and less of their resources into the administrative overhead that often comes with renting office space. The event next Wednesday, April 26, costs $25 and includes unlimited trivia and raffle drawings to win prizes from local businesses. You can register online or pay at the door. If you pre-register by April 21, you’ll also be entered into the grand prize drawing. Register Here
